Not feeling great after your massage?

It happens! We’re here to support you.

Sometimes, our bodies are not happy with how things settle, particularly after fascial release and trigger point work. Sometimes, our massage therapists don’t have enough time to work on all of the things involved in a pain presentation, and sometimes, our bodies just plain don’t like the techniques that were used in our massage.

If you feel worse than when you came to see us, email mack@resolvebodyworksrva.com for support, options moving forward, and if applicable, recommendations for things you can do at home to better support your body in its recovery.

COVID + ILLNESS POLICY Updated 4.05.23

Proof of vaccination is no longer required. Masking and requests for negative COVID test are left to the discretion of each individual therapist for clients who have recently been sick.

We do the best to respect both our clients and staff who are immunocompromised, and will take precautions based on individual circumstances. If you are working with an immunocompromised therapist, you will be asked to wear a mask for the duration of your session, even if you are well. You will be informed of this at least 24 hours before the time of your appointment. You are welcome to decline, but this will result in your scheduled session being terminated or rescheduled to a different date with a different therapist.

We provide disposable masks for anyone who needs one. Cancellations due to COVID exposure or positive COVID tests are not subject to the 24 hour cancellation fee. We request that you please wait at least 7 days after the cessation of your symptoms with a negative test result before booking your next appointment.

As a reminder: If you have been sick (COVID or otherwise), it is never a good idea to receive massage due to risk of exacerbated symptoms, and spreading illness.
